Stefan Wirths, LL.M., is a senior associate at WOLLWEBER Rechtsanwälte. Among various other fields of commercial law, he has longstanding expertise in German as well as cross-border agency and distribution matters. Further, Stefan has longstanding experience in various intellectual property law matters with a focus on the protection against unfair competition as well as trademark matters including litigation. Before joining WOLLWEBER Rechtsanwälte in 2007, Stefan worked for the Centre for Protection against Unfair Competition (“Wettbewerbszentrale”), the largest and most influential German and cross-border self-regulatory institution for the enforcement of the Act against Unfair Competition (“UWG”).
Stefan studied at the University of Gießen, did his articles in Limburg and Frankfurt/Main and earned a postgraduate master’s degree (LL.M.) in international law from the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. He was admitted to the bar in 2007. In 2020, Stefan successfully completed a specialist lawyer course in intellectual property law. Stefan is member of the German Lawyers Association (DAV).
