Gerhard Deiters is partner at BHO Legal. His practice focuses primarily on IT law, Data and Data Protection law. Gerhard studied law at the University of Cologne. After his first state examination, he first worked at the Institute for Private International Law and Comparative Law and later as a research assistant at a commercial law firm in Cologne, where he also completed his legal clerkship. He completed his administrative station at the German Embassy in Jakarta and his elective station at eBay GmbH in Dreilinden near Berlin. Before joining BHO Legal, he worked for several years as a lawyer at a national law firm in IT, telecommunications and data protection law. Gerhard specializes in the legal fields of IT, data protection, data privacy and international contract law as well as the sectors research, security and defence, there in particular in the areas of agile developments, data mining, KI training, open data, open source, unmanned systems and military procurements. In addition to providing legal advice, he is also a seminar leader and speaker in the areas of IT and data protection law, as well as giving lectures and training courses on legal issues relating to future technologies. A particular hobbyhorse is the implementation of customer-specific workshops on contract drafting in agile projects. |
